Background: The Daimler Super Eight is a luxury saloon introduced by Daimler - Jaguar’s prestige division - as the flagship model in its range.

Launched in 2005, the X356 model was a facelifted version of the X350 XJ which had been first introduced in 2003 and was primarily aimed at the European and North American markets.
