The car's description indicates that it has been stored for most of its latter-day life and is part of a private collection. It is recognized by the AVO Club, which inspected and valued it in 2011, confirming its provenance. The presence of an original logbook and confirmation in the current logbook, along with mentions in various magazines and publications, supports its historical significance. While the description doesn't detail its current mechanical or cosmetic condition, the focus on its history and rally pedigree suggests it has been well-preserved or maintained, likely requiring some level of reconditioning to bring it to its original state.
