Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This Standard Ten project car, modified for a 2009 endurance rally, features a Triumph engine and gearbox swap. Despite recent starting, it requires substantial work including inner sill fabrication and new tires.
It's offered as a delightful project for someone looking to race or rally, with an attached history including its original registration and rally build sheet, and is being sold without reserve.

Condition
3
The car has age-related wear on the paint and body. Major fabrication/welding of inner sills is required, along with new tires and general recommissioning. While it has recently started and driven, the need for significant structural repair and replacement parts indicates a 'Below Average' condition.

This car was originally registered VDU 60.
It was re registered in 2008 as 152 XUH, the original number presumably sold, possibly to help fund the modifications for the London to Casablanca endurance rally, in which this vehicletook part in 2009.
It still sports it's racing number 6, as well as the drivers and co-drivers names.
The chief modifications appear to be the fitting of a 1300cc engine from the Triumph Toledo/Dolomite range, along with the gearbox and rear axle from same.
It has stood for 2 years, but has recently started and driven.
The paint is flat olive green shell whilst the body appears solid, it is showing age related wear.
Main works required are: complete fabrication/welding of inner sills.
(Serviceable outers supplied.) New tyres required, plus general recommisioning works.
The V5 is present together with various old MOT certificates and the suggested build sheet for the rally modifications.
A delightful project for somebody wanting to race, rally or hill climb...
