• Owned by the same family for the last 16 years• Comprehensive history folder The Mini John Cooper LE 40 is a highly collectible limited-edition model produced by the Rover Group to commemorate two milestones: the 40th anniversary of the Mini brand’s modern era and the 40th anniversary of the Cooper name’s F1 World Championship victory.
Only 300 cars were built (with possibly one extra for the Cooper family, making 301) making it an exceptionally rare model.
The standard specification is striking: all cars were finished in Brooklands Green with an Old English White roof, matching Old English White bonnet stripes and mirrors, and featured a Grenadine Red leather interior.
The interior is richly appointed, with full leather on the steering wheel, gear knob, handbrake lever, and doors, plus an engine-turned aluminium effect dashboard and magnolia-faced dials, all emphasising its status as a premium limited edition.
