When the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was released to the public in October 1965, the development departments were showing the result of work carried out over a period of some ten years.
The new series was characterised by surprisingly modern features and with their development, Rolls-Royce broke new ground and away from many sacred design principles.
The Silver Shadow Long Wheelbase was renamed the Silver Wraith in 1976, and a total of 2,135 examples were manufactured.
In addition to the additional legroom, the Silver Wraith was identifiable by a smaller rear window, Everflex roof and different wheel covers. This exceptional Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II has been used sparingly yet maintained to the highest standards since its purchase from a recognised brand specialist in 2010.
