• Circa £9,000 spent on further improving the car since 2023 following storage• One of just 115 right hand drive examples built• Strong history fileOne of the rarest and most desirable derivatives of the XJS, the JaguarSport XJR-S was developed by JaguarSport, the joint venture between Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR), and hand-finished by TWR engineers at Kidlington, many of whom had worked on the XJ220.

Far more than a cosmetic exercise, the XJR-S received extensive mechanical development, including its enlarged 6.0 litre V12 producing 318bhp, Zytek engine management, modified GM400 automatic transmission and Salisbury limited-slip differential.

TWR also developed the suspension with increased spring rates and specially tuned Bilstein dampers, while a true dual exhaust system, 16-inch Speedline wheels and subtle bodywork gave the XJR-S a suitably purposeful appearance.

Inside, bespoke Connolly Autolux leather and a Momo steering wheel completed the specification.
