Meyers, the Manx was introduced in 1964 as a lightweight recreational vehicle built around the proven mechanical components of the ubiquitous Volkswagen Beetle.

Its distinctive fibreglass body, featuring pronounced wheel arches, an open cockpit and exposed rear engine, was designed to exploit the Beetle’s robust chassis, rear-engined traction and exceptional versatility.

Equally at home on sand dunes, beaches and public roads, the Manx quickly became an icon of the emerging dune buggy movement.
