The current owner purchased the Elan from its original owner in Littlehampton, West Sussex, in 1991 and subsequently set about an extensive restoration, completed in August of that year.
The work included a comprehensive body off restoration together with a full engine rebuild, returning the car to excellent mechanical and cosmetic order.
Included in the work was a new galvanised chassis along with suspension components fitted by renowned Lotus specialists Miles Wilkins of Fibreglass Services ltd.
