Its first owner was Arthur Bassett of Swansea and, with a prior owner acquiring it in 2015, it was getting tired by this stage.

It then went into storage before it was sold again in 2018 which was when the restoration properly started.

The engine was extracted and overhauled and clutch replaced.

A new wiring loom and cooling fan was then installed together with trafficators made working.

The brakes needed new linings and cylinders with all new parts sourced from the Riley RM Centre.
