Discovered in Sydney, Australia over two decades ago, the car was found in a dismantled yet largely original condition beneath a house.

An initial restoration phase began in Australia around 2010, focusing on bodywork and paint.

Following relocation, the car was exported to the UK in 2013 as a completed rolling body with components.

After a period of pause, the restoration recommenced in 2022 and was completed to an exacting standard in 2023/24.

The work was entrusted to highly respected Messerschmitt marque specialists, renowned within the microcar community for their dedication to authenticity and originality.
