The outgoing 996 was bound to challenge Porsche traditionalists with its water-cooled engine and controversial ‘fried egg’ headlamp design.
The new 997 had fresh, more familiar styling while evolutionary tweaks to the engine and the chassis retained the excellent fundamentals of its predecessor.This very low mileage example is presented in black with black leather interior (heated seats and steering wheel) and black hood.
Being a two owner from new car, its condition is commensurate with this and according to the present owner ‘it drives like new’! There are three stamps from Porsche main dealer, and the last service was at 22,973 miles.
