Galvanised chassis and bulkhead

Often described as ‘the first car most of the world ever saw’, the Land Rover Series II remains one of the most iconic and collectible classic 4x4s ever built.

PGA 778F left the Land Rover production line at Solihull in March 1968 and was first registered on 11th April that year.

After passing through 12 keepers and eventually being discovered abandoned, it was rescued and treated to a comprehensive body-off, nut-and-bolt restoration in 2021.

Original parts and trim were retained wherever possible, and a detailed paper trail of invoices and photographs documents the transformation.
Inside, the cabin is true to the Series II’s famously spartan character but presented in smart, freshly resprayed condition.

Many original interior elements were preserved, while upgrades include three more supportive Deluxe vinyl front seats, new door rubbers and two brand-new rear side bench seats set over a practical rubber-matted floor.
