The history of this revolutionary motorcar is well known, and its cultural, social, and mechanical impact is well documented.

On its introduction, the Mini was marketed by Morris as the ‘Morris Mini-Minor’ and by Austin as the ‘Austin Seven’; the latter until 1961 when it was rebranded the ‘Austin Mini’.

(Mini later became a marque in its own right in 1969.) Early Minis have become particularly sought after, with 1959 and 1960 examples difficult to find in good condition.

This fully-restored Austin Seven ‘Mini’ is one of the earliest production examples, having first been registered in October 1959.
