Introduced to the public in 1993, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first six-cylinder model since production of the DB6 Mk.
II finished in 1971.
Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 can be seen in the design.
Arguably one of the nicest-looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two-door coupé body and robust six-cylinder engine.
Power was supplied by an all-alloy double overhead camshaft, supercharged, 24 valve inline six-cylinder engine which produced 335bhp at 5750rpm.
Regarded by many as the purest modern Aston Martin, the DB7 will undoubtedly be a collectable car for years to come and is equally at home in the city or out on the open road.
