It was registered new in 1955 to California, USA and was the subject of a ground up restoration in 2016 and later shipped to the UK in 2019 and dry stored before being registered in 2024.
The current and only private owner since import has cherished this example with it forming part of his private collection.
Various works have been professionally completed by Martin Cawte of Classic MG Services in 2024/2025 including carrying out a full service and re-tune circa 30 miles ago, fitment of a new control box, rotor arm, condenser, points and sparkplugs.
