Odometer: 17,033 Having famously been unimpressed with the 348, Luca di Montezemolo ensured that Ferrari would return to world-beating status and the F355, alongside the 456 and F50, ushered in a new-era for Ferrari.
Launched in the April of 1994 to critical acclaim, the Ferrari F355 took the motoring world by storm with Jeremy Clarkson famously quoting it in 1996 as the “The greatest car in the world ever”.
Penned by Pininfarina, the F355 Spider benefitted from over 1,800 hours in the wind tunnel ensuring that it not looked the part, but sported F1-inspired aerodynamics to keep it glued to the road.
The engine was heavily revised from the 348 with displacement increasing from 3.4 litres to 3.5 litres and a new innovative five-valve per cylinder resulting in the highest power-to-displacement ratio of any naturally aspirated road car at the time.
