AI Listing Summary

This 1955 AC Aceca is a rare piece of motorsport history, having participated in the 1956 Monte Carlo Rally. While it has been restored to a high standard and features a Ford 2.6 litre engine with an early Raymond Mays cylinder head and a Ford overdrive gearbox, it also retains a significant history file, making it an attractive option for collectors and enthusiasts.

The factory works team worked, non-stop, for 36 hours to repair the AC and respray it in time for Tommy to leave for the start in Paris.

A 1:43 metal model, was built exclusively for mimodels of ‘WPG 7’ sporting its Monte Carlo Rally plaque! (which can be purchased online).
