The Daimler Century was launched in 1996 to celebrate 100 years of Britain’s oldest car manufacturer.

This ultra luxurious long wheelbase version of the Jaguar saloon, codenamed X300, was equipped with every option available plus a few more.

Limited to a worldwide production run of 100 each of the 4.0 litre and 6.0 litre versions they, unsurprisingly, sold quickly.

This model rarely comes to market with most being kept in private collections.

This 4.0 litre version known as a Daimler Six Century presents well in the elegant combination of Anthracite Black with a Silk White interior.

Supplied by the franchised retailer, Mead of Blackburn, in January 1997, this two-owner car retains the original dealer window sticker, key fobs and original rear number plate.
