The Bentley Turbo RT was the last of the Turbo R line and came with a 400bhp version of the 6.75 litre V8 engine, which it shared with the two-door Continental T.

The Turbo RT was produced during 1997 and 1998 only, with 252 units produced.

It was essentially a ‘run-out special’, an effort to sell off the last SZ-style bodies before the introduction of the Arnage.

Performance was 'more than adequate' with the top speed limited to 150mph.

The RT models were fitted with an active-ride suspension system, 'easy-entry' tilt steering wheel, and their longevity benefited from a galvanised zinc coating on the underside.

This particular example is beautifully presented in Black Emerald with Sandstone hide interior, quite possibly the best colour combination for these cars.

The paintwork and interior are both in excellent order throughout.

This car has an excellent service record with the first nine services being carried out by Bentley main dealers, up until 43,935 miles.
