AI Listing Summary

This 1952 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith, originally owned by Mr. Arthur Aman, has a rich history with multiple owners and modifications, including a repaint in blue and the addition of boot-mounted air conditioning. While the car boasts an excellent aluminium exterior, well-maintained interior, and recent mechanical overhaul, it also has minor cosmetic issues that need attention, along with wear on the driver’s bolster, affecting its overall condition and value.

Condition

7

The car presents well, with an excellent aluminium exterior and well-maintained interior featuring period blue leather, walnut picnic tables, and a golden Spirit of Ecstasy. Recent mechanical overhaul and major service indicate strong mechanical condition. However, minor issues like the wing mirrors needing attention and wear on the driver’s bolster prevent it from being in truly top-tier condition.

VI, and were equipped with independent front suspension and hydraulic shock absorbers, appealing to both owner-drivers and passengers alike.

Originally delivered to Mr.

Arthur Aman of Windlesham in Surrey by Brooklands of Bond Street in 1952, instructions included Silver Dawn headlamps and a wider, more imposing, bonnet.

It was then absorbed as a company asset by Arthur Aman & Co.

in 1954 followed by sale to Mr.

Philip Rickards of Fulham, London in 1962.

Mr.

K.

Hemmingway of Stanmore, Middlesex in 1965 became the last recorded owner on the enclosed period owner’s documentation.

David Leppan of Phillimore Gardens, London ...
