Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This right-hand drive Ferrari 348 Spider, one of only 68 imported to the UK, features a recent major service including cambelts and a new windscreen. The car presents well with a good hood and paint, accompanied by a comprehensive service history and long MOT, making it a desirable classic.
Condition
7
While the listing mentions a major service with cambelt replacement and a new windscreen, it also highlights the hood and paintwork are in 'good condition' rather than excellent or pristine. This suggests some wear is present. The service history indicates thorough maintenance, but the overall presentation implies some age-related imperfections exist, preventing a higher rating.

Description
The Ferrari 348 was a mid-engined, rear wheel drive V8 powered two-seater replacing the 328 in 1989 and continuing until 1995.

As with its predecessors, the model number was derived from this configuration with the first two digits being the displacement and the third being the number of cylinders.
The engine, which produced 300bhp, was mounted longitudinally and coupled to a transverse manual gearbox similar to the Mondial T with which the 348 shared many components.
The 'T' in the model name TB and TS refers to the transverse position of the gearbox.
The 348 was equipped with a dry-sump oil system to prevent oil starvation at high speeds and during hard cornering.
The oil level can only be accurately checked on the dip-stick when the motor is running due ...
