AI Listing Summary
This 1965 Ford Mustang 289 Fastback is a GT350 recreation imported to the UK after a comprehensive rebuild, featuring a 302c.i. engine, four-speed manual gearbox, and upgraded disc brakes. Finished in metallic Caspian Blue with Le Mans stripes, it presents well and comes with documentation from the USA and Mustang Car Club, making it a potentially desirable classic.
Condition

The car is a recreation of a GT350, which may affect its value compared to an original. However, it has undergone a recent rebuild with a replacement engine, body restoration, repaint, and new interior. Upgraded disc brakes and Revolution alloy wheels add to its appeal. Being part of a private collection and supplied with relevant documentation enhances its desirability.

The first Shelby Mustang, the GT350, arrived in 1965 powered by a modified version of the Ford’s 289ci, small block, V8 engine with a four-speed Borg Warner manual gearbox.
