The AC Buckland is a development from the AC two litre saloon, the highest produced vehicle by AC cars; however, the Bucklands are a rare breed with only sixty of the open tourers produced and even fewer being the straight door Mk.

Offered here is the AC Buckland racer of one of the ACOC founders, Harold Day, who competed in events at Goodwood, Brands Hatch and Silverstone; most notably, this was the first AC to compete at the Chichester-based circuit.
This example has been restored from the ground up retaining its original chassis and the period aluminium bodywork which has been stripped back to bare metal, media blasted and bodywork imperfections restored and, unlike most race cars, this also retains the fabric with which it left the factory.
Because of this, the car is invited to Goodwood to compete in the Fordwater Trophy and did so as recently as 2018.
