Condition

7

Based on the description, the car is well-presented and well-looked after, suggesting it's in good condition. The presence of service records totaling £45,000 indicates proper maintenance. However, the car is a classic, implying some wear and tear is expected. The car has been upgraded with a Harvey Bailey handling kit, alloy wheels, picnic tables, electric rear seats, and badge bar which usually indicates modifications done by previous owners affecting condition.

The Rolls-Royce advertising logo of making the best cars in the world was certainly relevant when the Flying Spur model was launched.

This model was not just the fastest or most expensive Rolls-Royce saloon to appear on the price list but was also the most exclusive, with just 150 examples being produced by the factory in Crewe.

The factory announced that although weighing in at 2387kg this model could propel itself to 60mph in a remarkable 6.9 seconds.

This newly turbocharged engine also produced the greatest torque of any production car at the time and eclipsed even the McLaren F1 and Aston Martin Vantage.

This impressive Rolls-Royce was ordered new from the Murray Motor Company in Edinburgh, at a cost of circa £150,000, and was delivered straight to Mulliner Park Ward for upgrades and improvements.
