The Ferrari P4 is a name that captures the imagination and may be considered one of the most revered Ferraris of all time.

Although beautiful, with its curvaceous sleek lines, it still retains an aggressive demeanour of a pure, Le Mans, sports racing car.

Only one complete car remains of the four originally built, and therefore, an elusive sight for many Ferrari enthusiasts.

It is perhaps not surprising, given their scarcity, that this great design would be replicated and so it has with varying degrees of quality.

With such few numbers being manufactured, getting hold of a genuine car now would be an almost impossible task and would set you back circa £20 million.

Based on a 1960's race car chassis, which is thought to have raced in period although with an unknown body and engine, the body was replaced at some point with a P4 style body, and the decals were added to replicate the famous race winning cars.

The engine is now a handbuilt, all aluminium, Dino V6 unit.
