Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This 1957 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, originally white, now sports a red exterior with a later 1290cc Berlina engine block. It features a rare cylinder head and twin Weber carburettors, accompanied by a substantial history file, though the chrome needs renovation and the V5 registration dates to 1996.
Condition
6
The car's coachwork is described as straight and rust-free with a smart finish, although applied some years ago. The interior is in good condition, and the hood operates correctly. However, the chrome work requires renovation, and the wheels are original but untouched. There are some modifications from the original specifications, such as the engine replacement and color change. Given these points, the car is in good condition overall but not without areas needing attention.

Mechanically, the original 1290cc engine has been replaced with a later 1290cc Berlina block (a common change in period) mated to the standard four-speed gearbox.
An early, rare and sought after cylinder head is fitted and fuelled via twin DCO3 sand cast Weber carburettors.
