Condition

7

The car has undergone a complete restoration/refresh, including rebuilt engine, transmission, axles, suspension, fresh paint, new hood, and carpets. However, the speedometer is not working, and some wear is visible. The aim was to give the car a new lease of life and be true to the original as much as possible rather than build a new car. As much of the original parts have been retained as possible, i.e., chrome, glass, seats, dash etc.

The power unit was classic twin cam engine of 1570cc displacement with drive was through a five speed gear box.

Power output of 106 bhp and top speed of 112mph was achieved.

In 1965 a convertible version was introduced.

Although the coupes were designed by Bertone, the new design by Carrozzeria Touring offered open motoring with a folding top and four seats.

The bodies were initially manufactured at the Alfa Romeo works in Arese and supplied to Touring of Milan where the roof was removed, hoods fitted and extra strengthening of the shell added.
