Code-named ""Goshawk"" several experimental chassis had shown most promising results when severe tests of the first 'baby' Rolls-Royce had been executed.

The Rolls-Royce 20hp is easily recognizable by its horizontally arranged radiator shutters (only the last series sported vertical shutters).

With a shorter wheelbase and a more economical engine it proved an ideal addition to Rolls-Royce's range as a second model alongside the Silver Ghost.

Its lighter weight and a reduced turning circle gave the 20hp fine handling.

This 20hp has been under long term ownership and is in beautifully preserved condition.

The coachwork is by Hooper in the form of a landaulette and whilst Hooper produced quite a number of these on the 20hp chassis, few have survived original and untouched.

The leather hood to the rear is original and in supple condition having been regularly treated with Neatsfoot oil in order to preserve its flexibility.
