This elegant Buick Eight was purchased by the vendor from the same collector as the 1931 model featured in this sale and is finished in black coachwork with grey upholstery.

It's understood to be one of the last off the production line before the factory began to manufacture tanks for the war effort, only 365 of these sedans were produced in 1942 making this a very rare car indeed.

This was the flagship model with additional chrome trim and the art deco style dashboard, powered by a 320 Ci straight eight engine which, according to the vendor pulls strongly and quietly through the manual transmission.

The brakes work well and stop the car in a straight line and this example only required minor work as it's in excellent all round condition.

A new battery was fitted upon purchase and some minor cosmetic work has been completed including a new set of carpets.
