MOT – April 2027 Few performance cars have achieved the cult status of the first-generation Subaru Impreza Turbo.

Drawing heavily on Subaru's World Rally Championship success, the Impreza combined a turbocharged flat-four engine with permanent symmetrical all-wheel drive to create one of the defining performance cars of the 1990s.

As values continue to strengthen, increasingly few examples remain that have escaped extensive mechanical modification.

Presented here is a 1998 Subaru Impreza 2000 Turbo that the vendor informs us remained in the ownership of an elderly gentleman for approximately 14 years, during which time it was largely garaged before being sold and sympathetically recommissioned in 2025.

The result is an increasingly rare example that has retained its original mechanical specification whilst benefiting from extensive recent maintenance.

Importantly, the vendor advises the engine remains mechanically standard and has never been modified internally.
