21 is a superbly prepared and much-cherished example that has been in the vendor’s ownership for the past thirteen years.
The Type 25 was Litchfield’s ultimate interpretation of the Japanese-built WRX STI, hand-finished in Gloucestershire and uprated in every respect to deliver performance, refinement, and reliability beyond the factory specification.
Originally conceived as a limited production run of around 100 cars, each Type 25 was individually numbered and engineered to exacting standards.
This particular example has been maintained and enhanced regardless of cost, with comprehensive mechanical improvements centred around a fully rebuilt Cosworth-block engine carried out by Subaru specialist Roland Alsop.
