Either way, it presents very well, having been the subject of an older restoration.

Its Seafoam paintwork is complemented by black vinyl trim and a black hood.

The Cortina retains it original Ford stereo unit and benefits from the addition of an aftermarket woodrim steering wheel.

The vendor has owned the GT for some 11 years, so knows it well and presently has no hesitation in regarding the 1500cc Kent engine, four-speed manual gearbox, converted bodywork, paintwork and upholstery as all being in ‘excellent’ condition.

The Ford is now offered for sale complete with photos of the restoration.

The odometer current registers 94,292 miles.
