According to one source, there are under 3,000 SD1s left in the UK, which makes this very original and presentable manual gearbox example a key member of an endangered species.
Finished in black and trimmed in grey velour, it has apparently spent its entire 37 years in the vicinity of Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The vendor presently grades the bodywork as ‘excellent’, the V8 engine and upholstery as ‘good’, and the five-speed manual transmission and paintwork as ‘average’, adding that the ‘body is solid with no rot but some surface rust’.
