‘C672 XFD’ started life as an unassuming Mini City, but in the words of the vendor has ‘undergone a significant transformation’.

It remains in its original, apparently quite rare, livery of Champagne Beige, but nowadays rides on 12-inch Gunmetal Grey Superlite alloy wheels.

Other exterior tweaks include a quick-release radiator grille, Austin Cooper bonnet badge and old style black and white number plates (modern yellow and white ones are included in the sale).

The interior is notable for its smart red leather upholstery, leather-rimmed steering wheel and drilled alloy door furniture.

The Mini is powered by a 1098cc version of the ubiquitous A Series engine that’s fed by a pair of SU carburettors.

It currently registers a total mileage of 87,000 and comes with a degree of history and a current MOT that’s valid until January 22 next year.
