After some five decades of rivalry both on and off the track, Ferrari acquired a fifty percent stake in Maserati during 1997 before assuming full control two years later.

Notable as the first model to be launched under the Prancing Horse’s control, the 3200 GT was unveiled to the press in September 1998 by Ferrari’s then president Luca di Montezemolo.

Powered by a 3.2-litre twin-turbo V8 developing some 365bhp / 362lbft, the 2+2-seater could be had with six-speed manual or (from 1999) four-speed automatic transmission.
Finished from the factory in elegant looking Blu Nettuno, this 3200 GT is believed by the vendor to have been originally registered on 22nd March 2002 by renowned dealer group H.R Owen for use as their demonstrator.
