Announced at that year’s British Motor Show, the XJ-S ‘Le Mans’ Limited Edition was only in production from September – December 1990.
Conceived to celebrate Jaguar winning the world’s greatest endurance motor race for the seventh (and thus far last) time, the model featured special badging (a Gold ‘growler’ up front and special ‘Le Mans V12’ plaque on the boot), twin Gold coachlines, lattice alloy wheels and uprated ‘SportsPack’ suspension not to mention a more luxuriously trimmed interior (piped Autolux leather, Wilton carpets, higher grade wood veneers) and numbered kickplates.
