The Silver Spur was the moniker adopted by Rolls-Royce for the long wheelbase versions of the Silver Spirit and belonged to a new generation of models that also included that marque’s Flying Spur, Silver Dawn, Touring Limousine and Park Ward and the Mulsanne and Eight Series models of its sister company, Bentley.
Penned by Fritz Feller, the range was first represented at the 1980 Paris Salon and was a welcome replacement for the long-serving Silver Shadow and its siblings.
