AI Listing Summary
This is a rare British-market Essex Roadster, a survivor believed to have its original paint and a history dating back to 1949. The car has been off the road since 1957 and is presented as a project, offering potential for restoration or recommissioning.
It comes with its original buff logbook and instruction manual, making it an exciting opportunity for a classic car enthusiast looking for a rewarding project.

The car is described as a 'remarkable survivor' believed to retain its original paint. However, it has been off the road since 1957 and Mr. Macey, the previous owner, never got around to restoring it. The description suggests it could be 'fully restored or carefully recommissioned as an ‘oily rag’', indicating it requires significant work. While the bodywork is 'fundamentally sound', the fact it has been dormant for almost seventy years and is presented as a project implies it is not in excellent or very good condition but rather has noticeable wear and requires moderate reconditioning.

This was used to power a range of models including a Speedster, Coupé, Coach and four-door, five-seat Sedan.
The specification was typical of the day, with the engine mated to a three-speed manual gearbox and suspension by semi-elli...
