AI Listing Summary

This 1929 Essex Super Six Sedan is a highly original, British-market, right-hand drive project car, purchased by the Macey Collection in 1952 and retaining its original East Suffolk registration. While it has been off the road for approximately 45 years and requires sympathetic recommissioning, its excellent provenance and original state make it ideal for 'oily rag' preservation.

Condition

7

The car is described as a 'project ripe for oily rag use' and 'will therefore benefit from some very sympathetic recommissioning.' It has likely been out of use for forty-five years, indicating it is not in perfect condition but has solid fundamentals and original elements. The paint has not been touched since 1952, suggesting wear but also originality. It retains its original registration number and has historical documentation, pointing to a 'Very Good' condition that requires minor reconditioning rather than a full restoration.
