• Desirable Slough-built, right-hand drive example • Benefitting from £4,800 of mechanical improvements by Citroën Classics in 2024 Pleasingly in preservation since the 1970s• Offered with a large history file, including buff logbook and original repair manual Introduced at the April, 1934, Paris Salon, the Traction Avant was a technological tour de force thanks to its unique combination of a monocoque chassis, front-wheel drive, torsion bar independent suspension, hydraulic brakes, and (from 1936) rack-and-pinion steering.

Powered by a 1,911cc four-cylinder OHV engine allied to a manual transmission, the Light 15 versions produced at Citroën’s Slough factory boasted wooden dashboards, leather upholstery, and 12-volt electrics.

This charming and enormously characterful Light 15 is offered for sale having seemingly been in preservation since 1973.

With the buff logbook, ownership history is traceable to 1959, when it belonged to Phillip Cooper of Chalfont St.

Peter, Buckinghamshire....
