Vehicle Details

AI Listing Summary

This 1993 Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible IV is a rare RHD example, with only 26 made, and has covered just over 34,500 miles from new. It has been in the same family for thirty years and recently passed an MOT until June 2027, though it has advisories for its original tyres and a non-functioning passenger window.
The car is being offered after a recent service by a Rolls-Royce specialist, which included addressing the hood latches and replacing the alternator. It presents an opportunity for a collector seeking a special version of the Corniche, albeit with some minor cosmetic and functional attention needed.

Condition

7

The car is in Very Good condition. It has been in the same family for thirty years and has low mileage. While it has been serviced and passed its MOT until June 2027, there were advisories for the tyres and the passenger door window does not currently operate. The hood latches have been unseized, and the alternator and AC belt have been replaced.

SALE ROOM NOTICE: Please note, the new MoT test certficate has been issued on this car, valid until June 2027.

It should be noted that there were advisories for the condition of the tyres, which appear to be the original Avon Turbosteel white walls.

Furthermore, the car has now been serviced by Shadow Motors of Sittingbourne, Kent and the invoice is on file for this which included unseizing the hood latches on the windscreen frame (so the hood is now fully operational) and the replacement of the alternator and AC belt.

Unfortunately, since arriving on site the passenger door window will not raise or lower, but the motor is audible upon operation of the switch.

The vendor has also successfully recovered the original book pack including the service book, which shows several servicing stamps early on from HR Owen, London and then subsequently by the Chelsea Workshop.

The original supplying dealer was Majestic Garage of Bournemouth.

It is often said the last of the breed is the most ...
