Introduced on December 8th 1931, the Graham Model 57 Blue Streak was soon being hailed by its maker as ‘The most imitated car on the road’.
A significant enough design to become only the nineteenth inductee into America’s National Historic Vehicle Register, the Blue Streak was offered in sedan, three-window coupe and convertible guises only.
Styled by Amos Northup of the Murray Body Co, the newcomer featured a ‘snowplough’ radiator grille, raked windscreen and fully skirted wings.
The latter, together with body-coloured headlamp surrounds and an underbonnet radiator cap, contributed to an aesthetic which was far more homogenous than rival offerings.
