The Bentley Arnage was launched in 1998 with a 4,398 cc V8 BMW engine.

The model was provided with a Green Label, but wasn't called Arnage Green Label.

In the middle of 1998, Bentley became the property of Volkswagen, and the comeback of the 6,750cc V8 was planned.

From model year 2000 on, the Arnage was powered by this mighty engine again.
