Sole known survivor from the 40 Mustangs that Ford Amsterdam built in January 1966 Only around 19 of the Mustangs built by Ford's Amsterdam plant during the 1966 model year (September 1965 – August 1966) are currently accounted for with only one of these – the sale car chassis AN07FL38697 – being known to date from January 1966.

First registered on 18 th April 1966, it was imported to the UK a decade later and changed hands several times before being purchased by Colchester-based Bakard Customs And Restorations in June 2010.

The company then invested c.£39,000 on parts alone in repairing and customising every aspect of ‘PLW 934R' resulting in the creation of essentially an ‘all-but-new' vehicle, with only the roof, centre tunnel, inner wings and some items of glassware remaining from the original Dutch-manufactured Mustang.
