Description

Introduced in 1948, Harley-Davidson’s celebrated Panhead became one of the marque’s most recognizable postwar engines, earning its nickname from the distinctive pan-shaped rocker covers.

This bike is a custom build by Lighthouse Harley-Davidson that evokes the celebrated early Panhead-era Harley- Davidson aesthetic.

This Road King's transformation is achieved through the fitting of Panhead-style rocker boxes and a curated selection of period-correct accessories.

While the mechanicals are retained in their largely stock specification, an exhaust upgrade and a reverse gear have been added for ease of maneuvering.

The bike's Liberty Sidecar adds practicality and dramatic visual presence to an already charismatic machine, completing this distinctive build. *Please note that the lots offered in the Billy Joel Collection have been in long-term static storage and may not be currently operational.

They will require mechanical attention prior to use.
