The 991 GT2 RS represented the pinnacle of Porsche’s rear-wheel-drive 911 and, at its introduction, was the most powerful production 911 ever built.

Unveiled at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, it was powered by a 3.8-liter twinturbocharged flat-six producing 700 hp and 553 lbs./ft.

Paired exclusively with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, the GT2 RS could accelerate from 0–60 mph in 2.7 seconds and achieve a limited top speed of 211 mph.

Extensive aerodynamic development, including enlarged air intakes, NACA ducts integrated into the front luggage-compartment lid, and a large rear wing, contributed to exceptional cooling and downforce.

Further enhancing performance were Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), rear-axle steering, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), creating one of the most capable roadgoing 911s ever produced.
