Mulliner-designed Drophead Coupe is one of the most desirable of all Silver Cloud models – only 107 were built, with just 33 in right-hand drive.

Chassis SXC637 was delivered new to Miss Mary Wentworth Kelly, a fabulously wealthy heiress connected with the famed Wentworth Golf Club.

She reportedly described this as “the most beautiful car ever made by Rolls,” and frequently used it for touring and at major horse racing meetings.

In 1973, Miss Kelly placed this example on loan to the British Science Museum, and ultimately gifted it to her nurse in 1989.
Rolls-Royce expert Peter Fischer of London subsequently recommissioned the car.
