Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1966, Ferrari’s new 330 GTC was positioned between the luxurious 330 GT 2+2 and the sporting 275 GTB.
The GTC combined elements of the two models, with the sophisticated chassis and transaxle layout of the GTB and the interior and trunk space of the GT 2+2.
Powering the GTC was a four-liter Colombo V-12 engine, fed by three Weber twin-choke carburetors, capable of producing an impressive 300 hp at 6,600 rpm.
Pininfarina styled the GTC with cues from popular models that came before it, such as the nose – which is shaped like that of the 500 Superfast – and the tail, which is reminiscent of the 275 GTS.
