Following nearly 20 years of development, Citroën’s revolutionary DS debuted at the Paris Motor Show in late 1955, where some 12,000 units were ordered on opening day.

Styled by gifted Italian sculptor Flavio Bertoni and engineered by the visionary André Lefèbvre, the DS remains one of the most beautiful and advanced mass-market automobiles of all time.
This charming 1967 Citroën DS21 Pallas is a desirable transition-year example, combining the early front-end design with the later, highly sought-after, green-mineral-fluid hydraulic system.

Notably rare, it is one of approximately 40 built.

Purchased in Cannes, by the consignor in 2014, this DS was subsequently restored over the course of four years by Citroën specialist Ray Calvert.
