PRE PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT PRESS AND DEMONSTRATOR CAR I ve been doing this for a long time.
Sometimes you get a notion of significance when you read a registration number.
NUB120, 774RW, SKV656 are all famous Coventry numbers for famous Jaguar and Triumph cars.
So when VX55EZK entered my peripheral vision I had a hunch that this was a significant piece of Jaguar XK history.
Flick through the service book and we can see the car was first registered to Jaguar Cars Ltd on 11/11/05 and yet this the X150 version of the XK superseding the X100 didn t go on sale until the spring of 2006.
The car is also fully loaded with every extra you could possibly put on these cars further confirming that we had a special car in our midst.
So to turn the hunch into a fact we apply for a Jaguar Heritage Certificate and we can officially see that VX55EZK was first registered to Jaguar Cars and acknowledged as a Jaguar Press Car.
